Audition instructions
for Miami Valley Jazz Camp 2018!
After you have registered for camp you will receive
in the mail, information on how submit your placement audition via a Google Classroom asignment. Attached to this assignment
you will see the music for your instrument. Please record a performance of the material. Post it to this Google Classroom
and we will place you in appropriate ensembles.
Send your audition
via Google Classroom.
● Record your audition. Make sure
it is a performance you can be proud of before submitting.
● You can record audio or
video. Either is acceptable. A cell phone video works great.
● Here is a good resource for
recording on your Chromebook. http://vocaroo.com/
BE SURE TO NAME YOUR FILES YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME!
Submitting
in Google Classroom:
Once in Google Classroom, follow these three steps:
OPEN the assignment for your instrument.
ADD
---> UPLOAD FILE
Select your video/audio file and upload it.
Be sure you press “Submit” or your assignment will not show up to be graded.
